Reports for the purposes of international reporting
The reports are created in the Forest Research Institute (IBL) on the basis of their own sources and also of BDL source data. BDL task is to publish the reports in their original form.
International reporting on silviculture and forest economy actually means the two most important initiatives. The first being the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) programme for the Global Forest Resources Assessment (FRA). The second initiative is the annual report on the sustainable management of forest resources entitled State of Europe’s Forests, prepared for the needs of the Ministerial Conference on the Protection of Forests in Europe (MCPFE).
